It's sad that in a Free country the government has so much authority that it can tell someone that it has all the power even though it truthfully has no basis to propagate such a claim. Wouldn't it be nice to send your child to school and not have to worry that what they (the school) teach may not be true, or at least that what they teach might be the whole truth not what they are told (or else the school might lose some of its federal funding) to teach. Wouldn't it be nice to turn on your television and see the news head line, "government appologizes!" to the sound of cheers? And who wouldn't like to look down at their paycheck and see an extra hundred dollars where once there was a deceleration of how much you are paying in income taxes so that the government can tell you tomorrow that it is going to charge you more so that your neighbor with "nerve problems" doesn't have to worry about clocking in with you to work for someone else to make them more money. Wouldn't it be even nice to go to the store and see that cut of beef that you always look at with a watering mouth (or large vegetable for those of you who don't eat meat) that has always been just a dollar more than you could afford. Ok so maybe I exaggerate a little but I think it's obvious what I'm getting at believe it or not it is with In the grasp of every American to take back our country from corrupt officials in all branches of the federal government, there is a catch however, not a big one but it is a vital one.
"everything you know is wrong, black is white, up is down, and short is long everything you thought was just so important doesn't matter everything you know is wrong just forget the words and sing along because everything you know is wrong". -"Weird Al" Yankovic's 'Everything You Know is Wrong'.
So you think you know? I bet you think that the governing bodies that so often tell us that what we think are freedoms really aren't and that the government is the final word on the matter and that since they are where they are they must know the truth and that it would be ridiculous to think that what we are told might be a lie. If that's what you think you know read the first ten amendments to the constitution and crack open a history book or two not written by some one trying to praise the government for all it's wisdom and prowes you might be surprised at what you find.
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post anything here but when web access is as limited as it is to me and when working a full time job it is difficult to get time to study in a way that is fair to any one who will be reading your research. Knowing something and knowing about it are two different things when I decided to begin this blog I nearly knew about some historical inaccuracies that even in the world we live in where information is so readily available people still find what I am going to try my best to truthfully and accurately share here hard to believe. I am not an expert what I share with you here is based on my own in depth research into expert's works and while I won't say much in this post I am writing it to get your attention and so in that spirit I will leave you with some truths I have discovered that every American not only should know but has a right to know.
1. The constitution was drafted to protect the states from the government, not for the government to control the states.
2. The freedom of the united states have been under attack since they were made free after the victory of the colonies durring the revolutionary war.
3. The states hold the power of the government not the other way around.
4. There was no American "Civil War" as it is commonly believed.
5. The north didn't want to free slaves it wanted to deport them.
6. Slavery was on its way out on its own without help.
7. Slaves were treated better by there southern masters than they were by the northern abolitionists once they were freed. ( I would like to note that I do not think it is right that one human should be considered the property of another human slavery is wrong in any shape form or fashion)
8. The fourteenth amendment to the constitution is unconstitutional.
9. The fourteenth amendment has been instrumental in the federal governments bid to take control and give itsself more power than it ever should have had.
10. Every war since the war for southern independence has been a power play to solidify the notion that the government is all powerful and in full control and that there's nothing to be done about it.
